Programmes for Carers
Recognising that being a carer who is combining a career with caring responsibilities brings unique challenges, How Do You Do It has developed a course for carers based upon first-hand experience and the methods that have worked for working parents. A practical workshop takes place in a group setting to help carers develop a support network within their organisation, share experiences and develop additional strategies and greater confidence to make things work for their situation. With only 56% of carers in Australia being able to combine work with caring, the need for support that is specific to carers is very clear.
