Good for parents good for business
These days, more and more parents are looking for guidance when it comes to raising their children, particularly when balancing kids and careers. From toddler tantrums to teenage angst, there are many stages, fears, frustrations, misconducts and worrying childhood situations that, while absolutely typical, can push parents to the brink.
The Care Education Workplace Program is a series of practical presentations outlining strategies that enable staff to deal effectively and positively with common parenting issues for a happier home.
The Care Education Workplace Program
While the program is very effective in reducing behavioural problems, more than half of its 17 strategies are focused on developing positive relationships, attitudes, skills and conduct. Even when focused on specific behaviours the program teaches parents broader principles that may be applied positively in most parenting situations. The core program covers the following topics:
- Power of Positive Parenting Strategies
- Raising Resilient Children (Self Esteem)
- Raising Competent Kids
Its aims are prevention of problems in the family, school and community and creation of family environments that encourage children to realise their potential.
Each course is available in various levels of detail and can be delivered in the most convenient format for you, including combinations of one-to-one sessions, group courses, telephone-assisted or self directed learning. Full supporting documentation and tip sheets are provided to all participants.
Accredited courses based on 25 years of research
This program is offered by Care Corporate in conjunction with the QLD University and Triple P (Positive Parenting Program), and is founded on more than 25 years of clinical research and evidence-based advice that has proven effective for many parents.
